How we work
Consistency, contrast, completion
Paint consistency is the first fix and the biggest. Thinned properly and applied in layers, the same paints that buried detail last month suddenly sit in the recesses where they belong.
Contrast is the second. Models are looked at from two feet away under mediocre light, so shading and highlights have to be stronger than feels comfortable up close.
The third problem isn't technique at all. Most painters own more models than they'll ever finish, and the fix is a repeatable standard plus a schedule — not more skill.
